What Can YOU Do For Fall Break?

The new fall season is just around the corner at Ruby’s Inn. And with it brings loads of activities to do.

DAY ONE

When my family and I  go to Ruby’s Inn, on the first day we usually arrive around lunch time. This gives us the opportunity to hit the Cowboy Buffet and Steak room just before the rush. My go to on the menu is the bacon cheeseburger. I usually get an appetizer there called cow chips as well. They are sliced potatoes with melted cheese, bacon, and served with their signature “Bronco Sauce”. Bronco Sauce is a creamy spicy sauce that tops it all off and adds that kick it needs.

After lunch we usually go on an hour and a half horseback ride from 2-3:30.

Then we go check-in to our rooms and relax.

For dinner, we go to Ebenezer’s barn and grill where they serve delicious food and then a band plays live country music with artists all the way from Nashville Tennessee.

DAY TWO

On our second day there, we usually start by getting breakfast at the cowboy buffet and steak room.

After that, we go on an ATV tour at 10am.

Once that’s over we go to lunch at the canyon diner. They have really good fry sauce there which is a staple in Utah.

Then, we head over to Old Bryce Town to get ourselves some delicious ice cream. Once we finish our cold treat, we drive down the mountain about 3 miles and we go hiking at a trail called “Mossy Cave”. It is about a 2 mile hike round trip and it has an amazing waterfall where you can go and soak in the cool water. There is also a really cool mossy overhang nicknamed “Mossy Cave” just a little bit farther past the waterfall. It is an amazing natural formation where water has weathered away at it for millions of years causing a really unique site. Once we are done hiking, we head back and get ready for dinner.

We usually eat dinner at the Cowboy Buffet and Steak room and I always order the flat iron steak cooked to a medium perfection. Once we are all fed, there is no better way to end the day than to go and watch the sunset at sunset point in Bryce Canyon National Park.

That is only two days that we spent here. There are so many more hikes, activities, and events that can help to make many more days of fun with the family.
