Spend February feeling like an Olympian too

BRYCE CANYON CITY, Utah (January 18, 2022) — Finish up the 2022 Winter Olympics by playing like an Olympian at Bryce Canyon Winter Festival. Don’t settle for simply watching your favorite athletes play and compete. Join them! This event will be held on February 19–21, 2022 at Ruby’s Inn in Bryce Canyon Country. Grab your snow coat, a friend and come live out your childhood dream of competing in the big leagues!

There is no shortage of things to do during the festival. Bryce Canyon Winter Festival hosts a number of rare activities such as an archery biathlon and pool kayaking. Guests will also have the opportunity to battle it out in our cross-country ski competition.

“I love hosting this event each year,” said Deanna Moore, Winter Fest event coordinator. “It is such a magical time and doing it in conjunction with the Winter Olympics makes it feel even more special. When I watched the Olympics as a kid, I dreamt of doing what they did on the TV screen. This event gives kids with the same aspirations the chance to try it for themselves!”

During the Winter Festival, guests can participate in activities ranging from cross country ski tours, archery clinics, basic morning yoga, crafts, leather making and more. They can also do kayaking in the pool — an activity that the kids really enjoy (and sometimes the adults too).

“It is so fun to watch families and friends come together and experience the charm that surrounds Ruby’s Inn during this time,” said Moore.  “With Bryce Canyon National Park around the corner, families can participate in our organized activities or simply bundle up and take a walk through the breathtaking scenery found here.”

Activities may vary due to weather but the Bryce Canyon Winter Festival will be held regardless of snow conditions.

Registration for this event will open Friday, February 18 at 8 p.m.
