How Can You Enjoy the Bryce Canyon Winter Festival?

The Bryce Canyon Winter Festival has been a family favorite event for many years and takes place over President’s Day Weekend (February 13-15). We have families travel to Bryce Canyon City to enjoy this wintry event, but did you know locals can also enjoy this event? There are a wide variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The best part of the Bryce Canyon Winter Festival? IT IS A FREE EVENT. The entire event takes place at Ruby’s Inn, Bryce Canyon City, and inside Bryce Canyon National Park. There will be Free clinics, demos and tours.

Let’s take a look at some of the events:

  • Cross Country Ski Tours
  • Kayaking Demos
  • Ski Clinics
  • Archery Clinic
  • Morning Yoga
  • Kids Crafts and Sugar Cookie Decorating
  • Pottery
  • Kids Snow Boot Races
  • And Many More Family-Friendly Options

Who teaches all of these classes for us? We have many friends that have traveled every year since the beginning to volunteer their time to offer these wonderful classes. We also have local teachers this year- Sara Syrett and Kara Syrett will be teaching the pottery class for the 2nd year in a row. Pottery is one of our most favorite family winter festival activities. Each family member gets to design their own beautiful piece of pottery by hand. You can also watch our teachers create pieces of pottery on their pottery wheels. Kids love to watch the magic behind the wheel.

Each day is jam packed full of scheduled activities. Our schedule of events will be available on our website at www.rubysinn.com/bryce-canyon-winter-festival/. They will also be posted on our social media pages: Facebook- @BestWesternRubysInn, Instagram- @bwrubysinn. Some events will require registration. Luckily, registration is available 100% online for the first year ever. There will be no need to wait in line.  Registration will be available Friday, February 12, 2021 at 8 PM, and links will be on our website.

Although there is a limited amount of snow this year, it won’t have an impact on the majority of the activities as there is only a small handful of events that are weather permitting. Once again check out Ruby’s Inn’s website for event updates.
