Cross
Country Skiing
Ski from right outside your guest room door
In
the winter, Best Western Ruby’s Inn grooms more than
50 kilometers of trails for cross country skiing. There
is no trail fee. Trails begin just outside the motel
and wind through forests of Ponderosa Pines and meadows
and overlooks of Bryce Canyon. The groomed trails also
interconnect with ski-set trails inside Bryce Canyon
National Park. Cross country skiing is permitted inside
Bryce Canyon National Park. Exploring the park on skis
is one of the best ways to enjoy the peaceful, beautiful
scenery and fresh clean air of Bryce. The canyon is
especially beautiful in the winter. Rental equipment,
maps and information are available at Best Western Ruby’s
Inn.
Snowshoeing
A perfect way to tour Bryce Canyon National Park
The
Bryce Canyon area usually gets plenty of snow in the
winter. Snowshoeing is a great way to explore the park
and the surrounding national forest. Information is
available at Ruby’s Inn.
Snowmobiling
Trails start at Best Western Ruby’s Inn
Bring
your sled and experience the exciting snowmobile trails
of Southern Utah. Trails are groomed from Rubys to the
Tropic Reservoir area - a large snowmobile area. Other
nearby areas include Pine Lake and the Cedar Breaks
areas. Snowmobiling is not permitted inside Bryce Canyon
National Park. Maps and information are available at
Best Western Ruby’s Inn.
